LEBANON, Tenn. (August 3, 2009) – Coming into the ‘Music City’ for the 14th race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, James Buescher was looking to continue his success for a third week in a row, as he captured back-to-back top-10 finishes at Kentucky Speedway and O’Reilly Raceway Park. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, as Buescher was faced with an ill-handling No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford F-150, which resulted in a disappointing 17th-place finish Saturday night at Nashville Superspeedway.

The MaxxForce International Ford returned to pit road to top off with fuel and receive another track bar adjustment to help with the tight handling conditions. During the next green-flag run, Buescher worked his way to 16th-place by the time another caution slowed the field on lap 85. Making a strategic call, Jones called Buescher to the attention of his pit crew for right-side tires only, followed by fuel the next lap. This call allowed the Plano, Texas native to restart from the fourth position on lap 89.

Buescher did not like the feeling of his Ford F-150 with only two fresh tires and slid back to 16th-place by lap 100. As another caution came out on lap 102 for precipitation, the Circle Bar Racing Ford returned to pit road for four fresh tires and a minor track bar adjustment, forcing Buescher to restart in the 19th position. During the final 45 laps, Buescher worked his way to 17th-place where he finished the 200-mile race.

Quickly the 19-year-old radioed to his team that his Ford F-150 was tight center off and within a handful of laps, Buescher was running in the 20th position. On lap 30, the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Contender was caught by the leaders and put one lap down. The competition caution flew on lap 36 and crew chief Jamie Jones called Buescher to pit road for four fresh tires, followed by fuel and a track bar adjustment the next lap. The No. 10 truck restarted from the 21st position.
